FAQ

Below are a number of Frequently Asked Questions (and their answers). If you do not find an answer to your question, please CONTACT US and we will do our best to answer your questions!

Q: I paid the annual, deed-mandated contribution to ABI, why does ACA ask for monitary contributions as well?
A: ACA is a volunteer community organization that is dedicated to promoting a sense of community amongst the residents of Arden. While ABI uses the funds it collects to maintain access to, rennovation of, and use of our beaches, ACA uses the funds we collect to further the programs that we sponsor. Some of those programs include the Arden Gardeners, Arden Kids Club, Neighborhood Watch, Seniors Lunch, etc.
Q: What is ACA's relationship with ABI?
A: ACA is a separate, independent group from ABI. ACA has its own Board of Directors, volunteer staff, and program agenda. Although we are separate, ACA holds a representative position on ABI's Board of Directors so that both groups may work together and know what one another are trying to accomplish and to promote a better sense of community.
Q: Is it possible to rent the Arden Community Association Building, Town Hall?
A: YES. Town Hall is available to rent for parties, celebrations, meetings, etc. The cost of rental is $50.00 for 4 hours. In addition to that, a $30.00 cleaning deposit and $15.00 key deposit is due. Both deposits will be refunded after the party upon inspection of the building and return of the key. If you would like to rent the building, please contact the current ACA president using the Contact Us form and allow 2 WEEKS NOTICE before making your reservation. The building is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
